Here's the seeding list for the 2012 Tombstone Trail. If you aren't on the list, you'll be placed according to your experience on similar events (usually Seed D, because there aren't that many similar events!). If two people from different seeds run together, they compete in the higher class.
Teams running with more than two adults will be bumped up one class. Class AA is for class A tp get bumped for having more than 2 people. You can run with more than two people if you wish. However, remember that only two people are allowed out of the car at any one time.
An asterisk(*) indicates people moving up a seed for 2012. Adult passengers on winning teams who are not in the official results are included in this list. Older competitors who don't run any more may be dropped a seed. Competitors who haven't competed in more than 5 years may be dropped a seed. Some competitors who haven't run in more than 10 years have been removed from the list.
Typically, if you win class C or finish in the top 40% of the field, we move you up to seed B. If you win class B or finish in the top 20%, we move you up to seed A. If you weren't on the list before, we'll usually only move you up to seed B, just in case it was a fluke.
